Digitain has named Terry Lee as the new head of Asia to oversee regional expansion. The appointment was announced on July 13, 2026, marking a strategic shift toward Asian markets for the platform provider.
Lee brings extensive industry experience to the role, joining from esports betting technology supplier Oddin.gg. He served as deputy head of sales at the company for just over a year. Prior to that, he spent 11 years at Sportradar working as the sales director for the Asia region.
Both previous positions were based in Manila, Philippines.
Strategic Focus on Asian Markets
The hiring follows Digitain’s recent expansion efforts in Europe, where the company secured iGaming licenses in Denmark, Belgium, and Romania. Dario Jurčić was recently appointed as chief commercial officer for Europe and Africa. Lee stated that his primary objective is to establish Digitain as a significant player within key regulated markets and build strategic partnerships aligned with local requirements.
Ani Mkrtchyan, chief sales officer at Digitain, highlighted Lee’s deep understanding of regulated Asian markets. She noted that his expertise will support the company's expansion plans and contribute to commercial success in the region.
